It has been a terrible week here in California! Hard to believe the fires have taken so many lives, human and Animal. Some of those that made it out have no property left, no house, no cars, nothing, but the cloths on their backs. The fires are still burning, California is a large state, so to some it seems the whole state is on fire, but it is not. But it seems like it to me and I live here!

With so much sadness I had to say good bye to Snap today. He had malignant melanoma in his nasal cavity. It was time to let him go. We miss you Happy Snappy!

Faye and Walt Ghielmetti are safe their house was saved by fire fighters. There fence/fields are burned, homes right around them are gone. I am sure Faye will tell us all about it when she can. They spent two-nights sleeping in their cars with the dogs. Cell phone coverage is very spotty that is why we have not heard from them. ...

Skippy’s first day doing articles. This is how we start them, Skippy is 4 months old and no food is used. We motivate and keep it positive for him. We encourage him to stay on task, he is on a leash so I do not have to worry about him taking is prize off somewhere. As you can see he is happy to work and happy to come back to me and play the game. 3 times a session is enough as he will lose focuses, I want him to want more and be happy to play the game tomorrow! ...
