Steamer is a fun-loving comic of a Toller. He’s always happy, sometimes giddy, sometimes plain goofy. He earnestly tries to get in the game I’ve chosen to play and do his best. No matter what else he is, he is my team member and my partner.
He earned his OTCH in 2012 after some fits and starts, an injury (his), another injury (mine), time out to play in other venues (field, agility), some time off and various other silly interruptions. He mostly earned legs with incredible precision, sometime crashed (literally) with spectacular antics and sometime just made everyone laugh. I learned to roll with it!
Many, many thanks to Dee Dee who put finesse on our roughness and kept us going when the OTCh was close. Steam is retired now and is just being my pal, my favorite role that he plays so well.
