About Blue

Blue was our second golden. Bo, his mother was our first dog. He was one of ten puppies. Blue introduced us to the world of field trials. He ran derby and earned 3 Derby Points and 5 Jams. He ran qualifying and earned 2 Jams and 1 reserve Jam. He earned a WC and WCX. He had 5 legs on his Senior Hunting title. He passed the master hunter test 9 times and qualified for the Master National in 1994. When Blue retired from the field trial circuit, he had his own duck pond in Dixon, California. He hunted pheasants and ducks every year. He was a great dog. He was very stylish in the field. I remember being told by “Lab” people, that he ran like the wind. He was a super dog and a super hunter. I think he was the only dog, that ever went to a master hunt test at Grizzley island and was skunked 2 times in the same weekend. He was a fun dog and I learned a lot. Thank you Dee Dee for another great DD dog.
