The kennel name “DD’s” has been used by Dee Dee & Billy Anderson since 1979 and has been listed with the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) since that time. Because you are not allowed to register initials with the AKC, DD’s is not a registered kennel name with the AKC, so anyone can use it. For 23 years the name DD’s was well respected and no one else thought of using it. In 2002 someone else started to use the DD’s kennel name. That person is not connected with Dee Dee or Billy Anderson in any way. Dee Dee & Billy are AKC breeders of merit, GRCA members, and lifetime members of the Norcal Golden Retriever Club. As you can see from this site, Dee Dee & Billy have very talented dogs, and they do their best to breed goldens with true Golden retriever traits. They have many years of experience in many different venues with their own dogs, and they provide lifelong support to each person that has purchased a dog from them. You will find a list on this site of every DD’s Golden bred by them-only those goldens listed on this site are genuine DD’s Goldens bred by Dee Dee & Billy Anderson. Dogs with the DD’s kennel name not listed on this site were not bred by Dee Dee & Billy Anderson, and are not affiliated with them in any way.
